This blog started as a mean to collect and organize personal notes about software development and IT matters. It is a set of tips and tricks, code samples and tutorials or summaries. I have decided to make it more public and presentable.

You are welcome to comment on posts, I will review them and publish them (unless they are unrelated to the matter, spammy or inappropriate). You can also become a follower (see bottom left of this page).

In order to handle the growing number of posts, I created pages containing sets of links for each topic (Maven, Tomcat, Java code, etc...). You can find a menu of pages above (under the header).

This blog is both known as and It was formally associated with the domain name.

Where does 'Tshika Tshikaaa' come from?

Well, if you were not around in the 80's, then you probably don't know about a song called Oh Yeah by Yello. If this song rings a bell, then you've probably seen the emblematic movie defining youth of the 80's: Ferry's Bueller Day Off.

If you have not seen this movie, then you've definitely missed something. Remember: 'Life moves pretty fast! If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it!'.
